Green King Brewery
Despite the damp weather, 19 members attended with 8 Morgans. Malcolm did not want to get his new Whitehall white 4/4 dirty - although Natalie was keen to have a run out in it. The fact that their tin-top was white did not help his defence! Rosemary and Simon were excused - due to the Plus 8 being away for some cosmetic repairs!
The tour round the brewery was most entertaining - our guide was full of wit and kept remarking that the equipment in the brew house was older than our cars! There was a good selection of beers
to taste in the Tap Bar afterwards - much debate upon the members' favourite brew meant plenty of re-tasting!
Some then went into Bury St. Edmunds to sober-up with lunch and a visit to the Christmas Market. A most successful day organised by Sue and Jeff.
